Stewart Writtle is a freelance photographer based in the Midlands and has been in the profession for many years. He has won countless national and international awards, and has travelled extensively on assignments to countries including America, Switzerland, Hungary, Spain and France.
He is based in the Midlands, working for a variety of commercial, industrial, architectural, construction, PR and press clients. They include Birmingham Airport, Jaguar Land Rover, NPower and The National Lottery as well as smaller businesses and government organisations. Before starting his own business, Stewart worked as a staff photographer with the Express & Star and Shropshire Star, covering major sporting events including FA Cup finals, Wimbledon, Formula One and the Six Nations Rugby. His news portfolio includes Princess Diana’s funeral, the war in Bosnia and the G8 summit, these can be seen in the ‘over the years’ section.
Stewart’s work is well known for its high quality by all the major picture editors, both on regional and national publications. He also works with a number of other photographers whom he can rely on, to help cover when extra staffing is required, be it for photography or video/film work.
